Male Model - Update

Haven't done too much on the models this weekend, again I forgot to save him out and left him at school. D:
But I have been working on giving the male some arms and it is going good. Getting some help with the anatomy from a few class mates. Sometime by tomorrow, he should have some type of head ..... if I don't forgot him.

Week 1

I have been working on both 3d models, reason is that I forgot to save over my male model over to my usb. Yesturday I started working on the female model. Both model's are box out but the female is a littler bit more detail compare to the male, cause I didn't leave her at school.

6-23
Male:

He started off as a box, I am starting to get him smoothed out... in other words trying to give him some curves.

6-24
Female:

She also started off as a box, but since I left my male model at school. I had alot more time to smooth her out. For both of the models I would have to work on fixing up the anatomy, and giving them each their own personitlies (Jason idea - to give the male a gut).

Character Concepts

I have been working on the character details and concepts. I think I have decide on what to make. The female is going to be the mod and she is going to be based on a gunslinger. With her model, her clothes are going to be model separate giving the player a chance to change her clothes and other accessories. The male is going to be a npc and he is going to be based on a cardsharp or saloon keeper. With his model, his clothes are going to be model on since the player doesn't have any control over him.

Here are the concepts for the models. Granted that the drawings aren't the best, I was just trying to figure out how the clothing will look like and the style since I am going for a 1880's to 1900's western style.

Male Concepts - Gunslinger/Sheriff, Saloon Keeper, and Cowboy

Female Concepts - Gunslinger, Teacher, Saloon Keeper, and Saloon Girl

Weclome

I will be posting and documenting the process of making two 3d characters. The characters are based off of a friend's 3d level that he made for a class. The level that he made was a 1880-ish western town. The models will be scaled down to fit into the level scale.

For the two characters they are going to be male and female. They are both going to be dressed for the time era which is 1880 Victorian style.

Ideas:
For the female I don't want to be her in a dress, I would like to make her more of tomboy. Dressing her in men's clothing, like with the long duster coat, cowboy hat and holster. Or to keep with time she'll be in a dress.

For the male, most likely he is going to be the a gunslinger or the sheriff.

Will be posting the concept art for them soon.

References for the models are going to be old western shows, movies, and characters.
